【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedformeasuringdistortioninstripusedformakingclosetoleranceparts.Sincedistortioninthisstripwouldinfluencetheshapeofthepartbeingproducedandcausedifficultiesinfeedingthroughclose-fittingdiesandothermanufacturingequipment,itisimportantthatthismaterialbeflat.Thistestmethodprovidesauniversalprocedureformeasuringtheirregularitiesthatcausethedeviationfromflatness.Thistestmethodallowsthepurchaserandmanufacturertoinspectstripwithastandardtechniquetoamutuallyagreeduponandacceptablepercentagedeviationfromflatness.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforthemeasurementofdistortionsinthinmetalstripandtheapplicationofthesemeasurementstoanequationthatwillindicatethedeviationfromflatness.1.2Thedistortionstobemeasuredinthistestmethodaredish,wavyedges,buckle,longitudinalcorrugation,andherringbone.1.3Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoincludethemeasurementofcoilsetorlongitudinalcurl,camberoredgewisecurvature,ortwist.1.4Thistestmethodislimitedtometalstrip0.003to0.020in.(0.08to0.50mm)thickandnotmorethan6.0in.(150.0mm)wide.1.5Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardcaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod(s)describedinthistestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
