【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthematerials,physicalpropertiesandperformanceofcoldwaterstoragecisternsandcombinedfeedandexpansioncisternsofupto5001capacity,fromwhichwaterisdrawnfordomesticpurposes.Italsospecifiesrequirementsfortheassociatedfittingsofsuchcisterns,i.e.covers,screenedbreathers,screenedwarningpipesandventpipeentrydevices,andforcisterninsulation.Itgivesmethodsoftestfortheevaluationofthepropertiesofcisternsandcoversmadebyanyoftheprocessescurrentlyavailable.ThisBritishStandardappliesonlytocisternsthataremanufacturedfromthermoplastics,andthathavecoversmanufacturedeitherfromthermoplasticsorfromothermanufacturedmaterialshavingathermoplasticslayerontheinsideface.Itcoversbothcircularandnon-circularcisterns,butdoesnotapplytoflushingcisterns.
