【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedasarefereemethodandforqualitycontrol.Thevehicle(oil)forpreparingthedispersionsandthetintingpigment(ultramarineblue)arespecifiedbutothervehiclesandtintingpigmentscanbeused.Anysuchchangesinthetestmethodmustbeagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.Theresultsobtainedwithamullerdonotnecessarilyagreewithanindustrialsituationwheredifferentdispersingconditionsexist.However,dispersingwithamullerisafastandrelativelyinexpensivewayoftestingtintingstrengthforroutinequalitycontrol.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedurefordeterminingtherelativetintingstrengthofwhitepigmentsbyvisualassessmentofbluetints.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableonlyforcomparingthetestpigmentwithareferencestandardofthesametypeandgrade.Note18212;TestMethodD2745describesaprocedureforinstrumentalevaluationofblacktintedsamples.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
